Um, no. Not really. My brother is a senior on RC's football team. He doesn't like it when people STILL bring up the incident, especially when the boys that it happened to are still on the team.
Because this may be something you don't understand but when you are on a team, especially in hs sports, you become a family...so when someone tries to ridicule and put down your teamates, they are also disrespecting you.
Serious sport has nothing to do with fair play. It is bound up with hatred, jealousy, boastfulness, disregard of all rules and sadistic pleasure in witnessing violence. In other words, it is war minus the shooting.
